January: Starts participating in lunchtime performances at Trinity Laban.
Tree of Life homeopathy last year may be having a calming effect.
February: Participated in e-Luminate Festival in Cambridge.
Best Friend Harry comes for sleepover at half-term.
March: First attempt at Grade 8 piano does not produce the desired result
due to suspected unfair penalty from examiner, so will be re-taken.
Wins Moreton Hall House Music Festival with piano and double
bass performances.
April: Brilliant school report: A’s in Maths, History, Geography, French
Latin and ICT.
Another Easter visit to Bristol where Jamie recognised African
Penguins at the Zoo from our visit to South Africa 16 months ago.
May: Double-Bass Grade 6 exam: Distinction!
Jamie’s first weekend away this year to go on the Great Central
Railway, inspired by Michael Portillo
June: Organ Grade 6 Exam: Distinction!
Aspergillus Niger IgG down from 65.2 mg/l to 36.9 mg/l following
course of terbinafine - the first time a treatment has reduced the IgG
July: Grade 8 Piano Exam: Distinction!
Great Summer holiday starting in Edinburgh and Glasgow for the
August: Fantastic holiday continued in Orkney. Great coastal walks, seafood,
neolithic history and of course playing the organ at St. Magnus.
September: Appointed Music Captain at Moreton Hall Prep School (duties
include accompanying church service on organ, accompanying
string & wind soloists and playing hymns in assemblies).
Great trip to west country including the longest steam railway
in the country.
October: Selected to play in under-15 section of Royal Academy, Royal
College and Trinity Guildhall Junior Departments piano festival.
Completed Royal College of Organists (RCO) four-day residential
organ course in Bristol.
November: Baptised a Catholic entirely of his own free will.
Second course of terbinafine did not have desired effect - IgG
for Aspergillus Niger back up to 52.8 mg/l
December: Superb holiday in South Africa, we never thought we would go
again, thank goodness for Air Miles!
